Have a 2007 400 fis that has sat for about a year??? i put a new battery in it. tried to start it, would start if i primed it run a few seconds then quit. i cleaned out the bottom of the carb and opened up a clogged jet. it will start run a few seconds then die. any ideas or advice??? appreciate the help. Dan

 

It still has a dirty carb. All of the jets need to be removed and cleaned or sometimes replaced. Also make sure that the fuel tank is clean and all of the passages of the carb are clean. Even a small piece of dirt can clog a jet or passage

That fixed it. Found another jet that was clogged. Thanks again.
