2004 500i 4x4 tbx mod
#1
hey all,
i recently bought a 04 AC500i 4x4. i really like it. bought it with 140 miles on it with warn 2500 winch all mounted from the factory. Anyway,i was wondering if you can mount the TBX dump box on a atv that has racks? Like maybe take off the back rack, and install AC factory dump box? I think i would find this useful for me. I would think you could order the parts direct from Artic Cat. well what do guys think.thanks in advance.

The issue is wheel base. Your 500 has a 50 inch wheel base while the TBX and TRV have a 58 inch wheel base.
I have a TRV and could remove my rear seat and modify the rear fender plastics and install the dump box. Not too sure if you could do that with a 500 without loosing seat space.
Now if you could extend the rear frame then possibly.
Hope this helps.
Swampy.
