new chain and sprockets
#1
It's time to replace the chain and sprockets on my 2000 Trailblazer. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good brand. I was gonna just go with Sidewinder until I read a bunch of posts from people who had bad experiences with them.

Hey Scramblazer~
I am currently in the process of replacing the chain and sprockets on my Scrambler. I have had good experiences with DID chains. I have had one on my TW200 for almost a year, and I ride that bike year round(yes, even in the snow). For sprockets, I would go with whatever brand you can get from Dennis Kirk or Rocky Mountain. Sidewinder just doesn't fit my budget. I cannot justify spending about 3 times more $$$ for products that really don't have a whole lot more benefits. Also, the Trailblazer is not a real high powered machine, so the top of the line chains/sprockets are not really necessary. DID is the chain of my choice, and whatever Dennis Kirk sells is my choice for sprocket.
