outlaw 525 IRS VS TRX700xx

I chose these 2 becuase they both have IRS and I come from a 800touring Polaris and Like IRS bikes better.
I just wanted something that I could jump (not supper high) take in whoops and ride normal trails. I do not want any thing with a straight axle. I know the outlaw is like 100 pounds less and some say its faster, so what would you guys recommend

Have only sat on them in the sales room but the one thing I noticed is the Outlaw is more stiffly sprung. They were both adjusted about the same on their shock settings. Personally, I would go for the Honda just for the fuel injection. I've also heard the Outlaw is faster but haven't seen any one on one races. Just my, less than knowledgeable .02 worth.

I rode my friends xx 2 weeks ago. My quad is a 400ex. When I was on the xx I noticed it felt like I was floating compared to my ex. It would wheelie in every gear with no effort. With the power the xx has it does not feel heavy when riding. When you punch the gas on the xx you better be holding on tight.

The Polaris is over 100lbs lighter and both ATVs are in the lower 50s in HP. The 510cc KTM motor came from a pretty serious open class race bike so its expected it will not have a disadvantage in power even though it has 176cc less.
Not sure about the EFI advantage, in this 450 motocross shootout the the only bike with a carb was the KTM and it won the whole thing hands down. 2010 KTM 450 SX-F Comparison - Motorcycle USA
Hondas 450 motocross has efi but there 450 race ATV with the exact same power plant still uses a carb so I guess they do not see the advantage as well.

Pin the throttle and the KTM’s engine doles out a ridiculously flat spread of power, and we mean that in the best way. Despite not employing electronic fuel-injection and instead relying on a Keihin FCR 41 carburetor, jetting and throttle response were spot-on in the high desert elevation at Racetown

if you're in a state that has winters- the efi is a welcomed upgrade for cold weather starting and more stable in wet conditions.
I watched jgars friend riding that xx and it does look like a nasty fast and powerful quad.

Bike will not be raced it will just be trail rides and back roads and things like that.

All my quads have been carburated. I'm in southwest OK. Our temps here range wildely. We've been in 100+ degree weather for the last 4 days with no end showing in the 7 day... Between December and march we can range from 70's to sub-freezing for weeks at a time. We've had freeze's as far as May and had none the past winter. The FI would be very nice. We are forced to run very rich in the winter to get through the summer and it makes a noticeable difference.
You said it won't be used in the winter. The only issue with that is when a carb sits that long you run the risk of gumming it up. Forcing you to clean it every spring. That sucks. Given a choice between the 2 I'd probably go with the Honda, if as said it doesen't feel to large.

Ya after some research the Honda seams to be the better fit bike for me.
