I was wondering if anyone has tried out the new version of DG's Polaris bumper? What do you think of it? Does it look good and add to the look of the machine? Does it really offer more protection for the radiator than the "origonal" style?

The only pictures I have seen were in a DG ad, but I couldn't tell much from them.

Hey adam, I linstalled the DG bumper and it looks great. There is plenty of radiator protection, probably more than stock down low. You will have to find a new mounting spot for your little black electrical box, but its no problem to mount it inside under the nose piece ( there are actually holes drilled there anyway). I opted for the alloy, but they sell a kromelite version (for twice the price). I think the aluminum looks great, but if you want to spent an extra $80 for the kromelite it will look that much better.

Thanks for the input on Ritter's pipe. This sounds like what I am looking for. Have you seen it, what does it look like?
