Oil injection
#1
Ok guys, I have searched EVERYWHERE for an oil injection pump block off plate for my 1995 250 Polaris Trail Boss 2X4. No one has it. No ebay or anywhere else. How are you 250 owners blocking that hole off??

Just out of curiousity why are you blocking it off? Are you going to pre-mix? I may have to do the same with my 2000 Polaris Xplorer 250. The oil hole to cylinder broke so I replaced the hose and now I don't get any oil to pump. I have a feeling this has not been working for a while I have only added about 12 oz of oil in approx 4 tanks worth of fuel. Do you have to bleed these pumps after replacing the hose?

Yes you have to bleed the oil pump to remove any air pockets. The bleed screw is on top of the oil pump.Plus the injector system doesn't use much oil,had people worried about this for years! You can go through several tanks of gas before having to add oil to the 2 quart oil tank. OPT
