Welcome to the forum! Pop the front panel and at the cdi module trace the black wire coming out of it to make sure it hasn't been disconnected. This is the kill circuit wire. Also could be just a faulty ignition switch. You can ohm this switch out with a meter. Also(doesn't happen often) a cdi kill wire can short out in the module itself not allowing the cdi to cut the ignition spark. Found a few like this over the years and had some people replace em and a couple guys that just decided to choke em down to kill rather than buy the cdi. OPT

Look further up into the steering post area and you should see a connector harness that goes to the left control on/off switch plus also ties into the ignition switch. The black wire will tie into an open black connector. Hopefully this will solve the problem. OPT

If the oil pump is working(you can pull the small line at the cylinder base to see if it's oily) I wouldn't worry about premixing. Most people worry about these pumps when they are usually very reliable! If someone has tampered with the pump OR you just want to premix you must remove the small line and block off the small injector at the cylinder base or you can cause air leaks!! You can drain the oil tank and leave the pump attached along with the split throttle cable. Premix 40-1 ratio. OPT
