trx450r o trx450er?

Default trx450r o trx450er?

The 450er is an 08 and there is no specific 450r, just wondering what the difference really is?

ER = Electric start. Thats it I believe.

old thread revived here but, I believe that depends on year. I was thinking all is same on equivalent year r and er.

the 04-05 have like 10:5:1 and the 06 and up are like 12:1:1 or something like that and in 07 some came with fuel injection and the 04-05 also have a smaller carb but some people say the 04-05 carb will help an 06 and up but i wont put one on mine....and yea sorry about the old news i just thought it was interesting

Nope even Hondas Site says the same as link above. Keihin 40mm flat slide carburetor with throttle position sensor (TPS) Honda Media Newsroom - TRX450R - 2008 Honda TRX450R/TRX450ER Specifications

They can,t be both wrong.
