My 2006 Polaris sportsman 500 HO EFI works fine at low and high speed, but skips bad at intermediate speed.When I go full throttle it picks back up and runs fine, but when I slow down to 10 -15 MPH it starts acting up again.Tried fuel injection cleaner.I just change spark plug but don't want to put it all back together if someone has something else that I should check.Would the throttle position sensor cause the engine to skip at intermediate if it was not reading correctly?Does this sensor control the fuel input to the fuel injector.

 

Look at the "sticky" post above about efi wiring problems. Usually map sensor wiring and connectors are the problem. OPT
