Default What's missing?

My throttle cable broke this week and I ordered a new one. The problem I'm having is that when I took the throttle body apart down in the woods to hand throttle it back home ,it looks like I lost the part that holds the cable in place. Does anyone have an alternative fix ,or a name for it with a possible part # . That would be great since it is harder than hell to find it on Polaris website. It's a 2006 Polaris ranger 700, Thanx

Don't know if you're talking about the foot pedal "nutsert" as it's called or something else? You can look here under your model Ranger under "throttle " and see if this helps locate the part you're missing. Browse If it's a little brass cable lock(#3130543) in the throttle body wheel that turns the butter fly,it doesn't show in the break down, but is shown on other machines on carb parts? OPT

Default You sure know ur stuff!

Thank you ,it must be the brass part, cause th cable is to small to fit in the butterfly that is in the plastic cover in the throttle body.

YEA,I know!. You might check at a shop nearby (if you have one close) and see if they have some old BST carbs or throttle bodies laying around that you could get used parts from at a cheap price . I had stacks of old carbs just for this purpose when guys lost parts. Good luck OPT
