Default 1998 Yamaha Tmmberwolf timing question

I have a basket case 1998 Yamaha Timberwolf. Does anyone know how to line up the cam, crankshaft and timing chain to get the correct engine timing? I have no manual. I am sure there are marks on the cam and crankshaft and some of you mechanics know some way to do this. Thanks for any all help GREAT SITE !!!

Remove the cam cover, There should be a plug right behind the reverse selector thats a alen key head, Remove that, Get a flash light and turn the engine until you can see a I then a F then a T stop at the T and line it with the line in the hole, Then you can align the camshaft by taking the gear off and lining it up
