Using Pelican Cases for storage boxes

My latest article is a look at how I re-used some surplus and Pelican Cases for ATV rack storage boxes and integrated some Rotopax mounts to boot.

That's a Pelican case? Hmmm..... I thought, for sure, that it was something you picked up at Walmart.

Hey Mosse, my wife has a "Pelican case" just like that.... It came from JC Pennys. Its for expensive high heels.... I bet his wife is looking for it. Now we know what he keeps in it, heels....

Dear Sirs- pelican cases are no joking matter.

It appears there are some very jealous riders in this thread.

Maybe Santa will reward you wit such a generous gift but I wouldn't count on it ...

Hey, just 'cause you like some sissy small plastic case that barely fits a real man's lunch, you don't have to ruin our Christmas.

Kind of like a buddy of mine who had a small purse-like case for a personal organizer. He owned a salon (with his wife) and I was helping him remodel a place to get ready to open. I had been giving him a hard time about the case and we were walking into a Home Depot. I told him, "If you bring that case into Home Depot, I won't acknowledge that I know you." I ignored him the whole time we were in there. It was a hoot. Later, the electricians were out to rough in the wiring. One of them looked down at the case and said, "I used to have one of those for my organizer (buddy started smiling thinking someone was going to take his side for once) but I couldn't get in touch with my feminine side." My ribs hurt for weeks after that one.

So, Beergut, you are fortunate that you don't get that treatment.

Man, some nephews are so touchy.
