The latest issue of ATV Sport has a shoot-out of a bunch of pipes for the 400EX! Mostly full pipes but they tested some slip on silencers too. Over 16 different pipes were tested on a new 400EX with jetting specified by the pipe manufacturer. Testing was done with a DynoJet Dyno and a Stalker radar gun used in conjunction with acceleration testing software.

Looks like the Curtis Sparks is making the most peak hp but WhiteBro.s' ProMeg is very close behind and then the DMC. Check it out at ATVNews.com

I am reconsidering the Pro circuit and leaning twords the White Bro's. Is everyone satisfied with it? Does it work good on modded engines?

Did you miss the shootout in Dirtwheels a few months back???

 

It looks like thay used a cdi with the Sparks set up but not with the White bros.

I've been told that the stock head pipes flow fine for a stock 400EX. I will have to look back at the DW article and compare the numbers.

TC is one of the best engine builders,if not the best for a 4 stroke and his exhaust for the 400 is only a muffler and cone. You use your stock head pipe....

TC also does CDI's.
