XR250R cdi work in a trx250ex?
#1
The title basically states the question. Couldn't find any info on the internet about having this work except on another forum where someone said that the 400ex cdi has the same part # as the 250ex cdi so it will work, which I then looked up and found to be false. The XR250R is an upgrade for the 400ex, so if the 400ex one works, then an XR205R one will work; and it gives 800 extra rpms and a hotter spark (I believe?), which is what I'm after. Really prefer not to get an aftermarket cdi as I like staying OEM
Thanks guys and gals.

Really? Not even a yes or no from anybody?
Any answers on this would be greatly appreciated please! Otherwise I wish I could just tune the stock one since I've heard nothing but horror stories from the aftermarket company ones...
