Default 08 -300-sportsman -bogs down

This bike just got out of the dealers shop -Carb was rebuilt with new jet. Float adjusted . At idol and slow -ran great but at an incline or small hill 5-10 miles an hour would start to sputter -loose power. At 13-15 MPH on flat land does the same thing .Checked fuel system -new plug -filter. Has fuel coming through system .

If you just paid to have this problem fixed,I would take it back!Don't touch anything until you talk to the dealer. OPT

Have a new question -- are there any aftermarket carbs that will work on a 300 sportsman # 2 bike is screwing up now .. Wanted to know if there was cheaper option then the 400.00 for the Polaris carb . Friend has a Honda and got a new aftermarket carb for 125.00 and has never had problem with it ....Thanks

Carb can be rebuilt cheaper than buying a new carb.. Usually just needs a needle and seat and possible float pin along with a good cleaning.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse

If you're tired of screwing with it and you're sure it's not something else causing the problem, there's a brand new one on ebay for 165 bucks.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Polaris-330-ATV-Carb-Brand-New-OEM-Mikuni-Part-3131571-/111338494197?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19ec4a98f5&vxp=mtr IF this is too costly for you, look for a used BST34 Mikuni carb as this is what you have and what this new one is also...Only you never know what you might get on a used carb
