Default brakes not working

I bought a 2001 polaris trailblazer and neither front or back brakes want to work. I tried bleeding the back ones and when i loosenes the bleeder valves and pumped the brake the fluid barley even came out and resevoir is full. I cant find bleeders on ghe front either. Could someone give me some ideas of wat to do to get them to work? Would greatly appreciate feedback. I boughf this bike for my gf and and shes anxious to ride. Thank u

Make sure you have good pads first. Master cylinder has to have pressure built up first to force fluid out.Try clamping the line close to the m/cyl with a pair of vice grips LIGHTLY and pump it up to see if it build up pressure. If it doesn't a new m/cylinder may be needed as repair kits aren't offered for that model. Another thing is to use a brake bleeder as it may help.Mityvac Vacuum Pump - Save on Mityvac Pumps at Harbor Freight!

Default brakes not working

Ok so i tried the vice grips on on brake line and next to thw master cylinder and the back brake lever has pressure. Could the brake cylinders be bad cause i just put new pads on the back??

This just rules out a master cylinder problem. With vice grips still attached and under pressure as you pump the lever, open the bleed valve and then shut it. Do this several times. If this doesn't help purge the air, then just get a cheap Mightyvac bleeder to purge all the air out. You can also use a small coiled pvc fuel line on the bleed valve leading to a container of brake fluid and leave the valve open as you pump. No air will be sucked back in when you release the lever. Old method that some mechanics still use.

Possibly need to replace the small rear master cylinder if it's leaking or sucking air and not building up pressure on the rear caliper. Common wear item on Polaris machines. Item #20 Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse OR if you're talking about the rear caliper leaking, then piston/seal kit may be needed. Part #3 on the breakdown list.http://www.cyclepartswarehouse.com/f...2001&fveh=5539
