Default Honda 400ex smoking/overheating

Hey guys IM new to this forum but my Honda will not smoke when its cold but about 5 min of riding it will start to smoke and won't quit. Even smokes a little out the exhaust when it's shut off. Also the oil resivor becomes super hot you can't even touch it that's after only about 20 minutes. I changed the oil but it was smoking.before that when I bought it from the guy. Any help would be appreciated.

What does it have for mods or aftermarket parts? Exhaust, air filter, jets? What kind of smoke? Blue or black out of the exhaust?

Only mod is a fmf powercore 4 I belive jets were 38 pilot and 158 main completely blue smoke. And the exhaust is wet in the inside after this is like a black wet soot.

alright well I was looking at the oil cooler and it looked to be muddy so i blew the oil cooler out with a water hoseand now after 20 min of riding it didn't get nearly as hot as it did after 5 minutes. Also during that time it never started to smoke.

Well you know your burning oil thats for sure. Look at all your gaskets and try to see if you can determine where it is being burned and then diagnose from there
