Default Adding a foot brake? 2007 Polaris SP 90

The hand brakes are kinda hard for my daughter to reach and grab. I really would like to add a foot brake to her 2007 Polaris 90 Sportsman. Also it is what she is used to. Has anyone seen, or have ideas? I know there will be some fabrication involved.

Thanks,
John

Ive had this asked back when we first got the little ones on foot brakes or kits available, but haven't ever seen a modification on this at the shop or know of anyone that has. You can research this forum and some of the other forums as to what people may have done. Don't know if the newer model Eton,Aeon,Dinli,Kasea or any of the others have foot brakes that you might could just fab up the foot lever and a cable back to the rear drum brake on yours. Found a front disc brake upgrade kit,but the cost is sky high.Hetrick ATV Racing | National Level ATV Racing

Thanks OPT!! This is one thing that almost all Chinese knockoffs have. The biggest issue is the rear drum. Looks like I will need to purchase a foot lever assembly, and cable for a youth quad, for a rear drum. Then do some fabrication at the rear drum for two brake cables. If I come up with a solution I will post the progress. I'm sure people will have their opinions and suggestions that will result in a better fit and finish.
