Hi, I have been away for quite a while, needed some body tune ups... Now ATv is doing the same. Starter solenoid is going bad. I call my local dealer and he wants $70.00 for a 2008 sportsman solenoid. The solenoid is the size of my thumb and it is only a glorified relay switch in a metal jacket instead of a plastic one. Just could not believe it!
This site used to have a pinned list of cross reference parts. Anyone knows any cross reference numbers for this solenoid, please, Thnaks

Just test that the starter wire has power from the solenoid when trying to start. If it's a starter problem here's a cheap place that may be able to help you out.Doesn't show for an 800 but they should have it. DB Electrical - Polaris
