Sportsman 500 Question for OPT

If both carbs are the same, both are clean and still does the same thing, then I'd check that you have good fuel supply to the carb. If it does pump fuel when cranking then you could have an electrical problem.Plus something simple as cleaning the pulse coil and flywheel area may be the solution.

Ya the ADC or whatever its called. Throttle freeze up safety switch. Make sure cable is adjusted properly.

Have you or the dealer eliminated any fuel supply problem with the small fuel shut off valve, filter?. Have you removed the fuel line from the carb, cranked it over to see if it pulses fuel at a steady rate.I'd look at the simple things first.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse
