Default Outlander 400 oil

Hi guys, I'm new to this site and I'm wondering what oil I should use for my Outlander. I have a 2007 400 with 2,200 miles on it. It has had BRP oil in it since day one but after I went to buy oil last year from the dealership and they told me that I had to but the synthetic blend oil in it now I've decided they are full of it. My manual says 10w-40 brp mineral oil. The can am dealer does not offer that any more and they told me that my motor was designed for the 10w-40 synthetic blend that they sell. I asked them how did you design my motor while I was riding it. lol I mean come on man. Any ways I'm looking at either going with Valvoline 10w-40 mineral oil or Mystic 10w-40 or 0w-4 full synthetic atv oil that they sell at Fleet Farm. Any one know if these are both good oils to use or if I should avoid one or the other. I'm kinda leaning towards the Valvoline just because its been around. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Don,t use blends they are a rip off. there like 10 to 20 percent synthetic with the price of full 100% synthetic.

Thanks TLC. I herd that before but completely forgot about it. I had to change it so I switched to the Valvoline. I also found it at Walmart for $4.00 a quart. Thanks for the help.
