Default Scrambler starting problem, Starter or Battery?

Before I go out and buy a new battery I figured I would ask here...

Lately my 08 Scrambler 500 has been having issues starting with the automatic start. I turn the key and it sounds as if its just cranking over and over, but no start. It will start on the first or second pull with the pull start, then after running for awhile will start with the automatic start.

Corrosion has been cleaned off the cables.

Does this sound like a problem with the starter or battery?

Thanks

I'd still have the battery load tested to eliminate it as a problem, but check this members post out. Sounds like you have a common problem that happens on the 500 Sportsman. You can pull start, but not electric start. http://forums.atvconnection.com/pola...ml#post3155476

Keep the new battery on a cheap maintainer and it will last for years..
