I don't know the price of the Armadillo but, my Baja is a nice unit. Everyone talks thickness, the AC I had first was not as thick as the Baja, But if you hit something hard enough to damage anything any aftermarket alum. skid is designed to protect, I think you'll have more to worry about than replacing the skid! Just my opinion.

I spent $95 for a Graydon skid for my 400ex. It fit perfect and looked very good. In less than a year it was scratched up from rocks. So when I bought one for my new Raptor I went with the Armidillo. I figured it was going to get gouged up like the last one. I admit when new it dident look as fancy as the more $$$$ one, but what the heck it was only $64 instead of $95. It has held up very well. It dident fit quite as well as the Graydon, but I expected that. The lower rails are thicker. I would recomend the Armadillo unless your trying to win a show.

My wife and I have the Bajas on our Warriors. They are nicely made, seem rugged, and are holding up great. The only thing that I didn't like was installing them. The holes weren't "right on", and were a little bit large. I used washers, and "made" the holes line up.
