Default Just picked up an 87 warrior looking for ideas.

Hey guys I just picked up a mint 87 warrior that looks like its been in a zip lock bag for the past 15 20 years. im just looking for some ideas of some mods i can do to it. Looking into an exhaust system and idk what else yet. Right now it is all stock still even has the same tires it had on the showroom floor.

IHave the same yr warrior. Nice little quad, great on good trails, bit of a challenge on rutted trails as it rides low. Great on corners but it can tip if one wheel runs up on a hump. Overall a fun ride if you pay attention.

Only that you might want to consider a taller tire if you are trail riding. Otherwise the lower ride gives more stability. Watch your chain wear, ours got to wore down, jumped off the sprocket and put a hole in the motor housing. Also you imight want to add some kind of running board as the open design tends to catch sticks which has pinned my foot against the frame. Ouch! Only other thing i can think of would be fender extensions if you ride in muddy conditions youre going to get sprayed. Best to get on your helmet and try her out. Also leg protection if you're going in the bush. Have fun

Its the same 348cc motor used in the current 350 Raptor so the mods for both should work.

Yea I know that I was just trying to get some insight on what mods are worth doing and what parts are better than the others.
