Default More power

Was wondering if their is less expensive way to increase power without breaking the bank. Jet kit not too bad $$, but the exhaust is out of reach right now.

About the only way to make some more power is more airflow through the engine. Cam, port work, exhaust, etc. Sure you can go higher compression and pick up a few horses but that means more $$$'s for better fuel.

So no, not really.

The really not much you can do with the Honda OHV motors. Your just going to spend more then the what little power increase you will feel.
OHV is the reason Honda Utilities ATVs are the lowerest HP per cc .Everyone uses OHC motors their even shifting to DOHC more, even honda used OHC in their Sport ATVs or they would be running dead last.

You could diy the head a little if your cool wi the opening of ports? that costs no money, also removing matierial around valve base(penny on a stick) to match being rejetted, but apart from that a donor engine might be the way forward, a transplant that needs a little work?
also borrowing a pipe bender and fabricate an exhaust up? done it myself and so long as you can weld??
out of ideas?
