My new 04 DS650 X came with foam filters and was used to a K&N

One looks like a stock style yellow foam filter with a metal casing inside. The difference from the K&N is foam vs paper(fiber) style in the middle of it

The other is a RED foam style uni filter (that's the name on it) uni

My question is:

I know the yellow one that attaches to the air box needs foam oil, correct?

Does the outer Red one (uni) also need it?

Looking for a quick answer as loading up later tonight for Northern Maine, The CT boys are going to be in Van Buren! Anyone else up there looking to ride?
