Default which oil for used ATV ?

Just got a 2009 Honda Foreman 500 with 1250 miles.
Guy told me he got the oil from NAPA.
Curious as to what kind of oil would be the best for this machine which will be used mainly for hunting in temps of 30-60 ?
I have heard good things about synthetic but dont know if it would be appropiate for use in this machine or not.
IF you would use synthetic in this used machine that up till now has used a non synthetic which brand and weight would you use?
If using non synthetic which brand and weight.?Detergent or non ?etc
Also while we are talking about it what would you use inthe front and rear diff.
Thanks
PS since I just got this rig I want to change all oils and filters so I will know EXACTLY wher I am starting from.

I use 15w 40 synthetic in my quad. If its that cool outside id run 10w 30 synthetic. Front and rear diff i always used gear oil. Its thick but it doesnt wear out either. I have a race quad and it runs high temp. Synthetic seems to work the best. Amsoil, castrol, or royal purple is about the best
