Yamaha raptor 350 backfires after turned off?
#1
I have a 05 Yamaha Raptor 350, that I ride regularly. When I ride for an hour or 2, then I stop and turn it off, it backfires, but it dosent affect the riding and when I go home it starts right back up. Should I be worried?

It could mean it's running lean on the pilot jet, it's idled too high, or you're sucking too much air from somewhere. Do you have an aftermarket filter without a jet kit, or is your filter properly sealed to the filter box?
It probably is not a major concern but something is not 100% right.

It's possible, but I'm not sure why. My buddy took the baffle out of his RZR and it started backfiring sometimes when he lets off the throttle. I would imagine it has something to do with back pressure and fuel/air idle mixture.
