Cool Yamaha raptor 350 backfires after turned off?

I have a 05 Yamaha Raptor 350, that I ride regularly. When I ride for an hour or 2, then I stop and turn it off, it backfires, but it dosent affect the riding and when I go home it starts right back up. Should I be worried?

It could mean it's running lean on the pilot jet, it's idled too high, or you're sucking too much air from somewhere. Do you have an aftermarket filter without a jet kit, or is your filter properly sealed to the filter box?

It probably is not a major concern but something is not 100% right.

Well I bought it in September of last year and it had no packing and still has no packing, I plan on buying packing before a big event down in Kentucky. But anyways could that be the problem?

It's possible, but I'm not sure why. My buddy took the baffle out of his RZR and it started backfiring sometimes when he lets off the throttle. I would imagine it has something to do with back pressure and fuel/air idle mixture.
