Hello first post on the forums.

Anyways just recently bought a 2001 honda rancher 350 4x4. The current stock exhaust is so badly messed up that it caused my quad to bog down and almost roll back down a steep hill.

If I wanted to put an aftermarket exhaust, like just the muffler, will I need to jet the carb and if so what should I be looking for in terms of a jet kit and muffler?

The quad has high mileage keep in mind, and I don't need it to be a race quad Also I am new to riding.
