Hi. I am new to forum. I own a 300 Rustler Linhai. 720 miles in clock. It s a 2007 model, i do not ride it a lot. I see on alot of parts the polaris name. Is it a copy of polaris? 1)It does nt want to idle, I used carb cleaner, and also took of carb and clean it. But still will not idle? 2) The weekend I pressure cleaned it and now when switch to reverse it jerks and stalls (sounds like back fire)


What can be the problem

 

Not a Polaris clone as closest thing is a 325 and 330 Polaris engine and both are oil cooled,not liquid cooled like yours,plus the bore and stroke are obviously different. Just cleaning a carb may not always solve the problem as there are parts that need to be replaced such as the needle and seat,etc. Pressure washers play havoc with electrical components and even cvt clutches if this is what you have.Best to ask in the Chinese section for better help on this machine.As far as Polaris market parts on it,it may share some common design components and someone swapped parts out.http://www.quad-atv.za.net/linhai_ru...4x2_specs.aspx

 

Linhai is a Yamaha clone
