Default 2004 700 Sportsman Front axle binding

I have a friend who has a 2004 700 and we put a 2 inch kit on the front amd now his front axles are binding so bad the atv wont move. And when u roll in bsck and forth the axle wobble bad and then hit the strut. shouldn't the axle turn in a tight circle motion and not be wobbling? What is causing this? It looks like the universal joint at the wheel are binding and causing the wobbling. Any help on this would be great I have little knowledge of Polaris and need some help.

The drive shaft cv joint or the u-joint could have been already worn before you installed the lift kit and at this angle are starting to bind. We installed lift kits and at times even with heavier drive shafts such as Gorilla for customers, but never did like em installed together. Yea they look good, but when you have to grind the inside of the strut cavity (per instructions) for the cv joint to clear anything can happen. Mechanics that have been around long enough for the most part hate lift kits, but it does provide a little job security when something breaks. And as the instruction say, expect excessive wear on drive line components. Just my on this. Might be time to take the shaft out and check the u-joints and cv.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse

Ok thank you. Im not sure how many miles he has on it. But I see what u are saying about them already being worn and then the extra angle causing them to bind. Thank you for the help.
