Max rider weight for TRX300EX?

This may have been asked before; but does anyone know what the weight limit of the rider is for a Honda TRX300EX?

Max weight limit from plaque on left rear fender states 270 lbs.

yeah I wouldn't expect the 300 to perform very well carrying that kind of weight...

Doesn't the 400ex say the max weight is 243 im not saying that 270 is wrong but just a little weird that the 400 is less than the 300

you sir are correct.. my 400 says 243.. not sure why that is...
