lowering your quad?

i have made a few mods on my 400ex made it a little faster. wondering if i should lower my bike the kit is actually very cheap! i dont race just all around trail/dirt/field ridding. anyone have any good tips on this?

scooter86 thats kind of what i was thinking too. i was not looking to gain any kind of speed advantage i really just love the way it looks lowered but i was afraid my ridding style would not really be good for a lowered quad. thanks for the input

No problem. You can get some of the same look by going wider. Cheap way is offset rims or wheel spacers(don't do the spacers if you jump or hit trees and stuff.) Spendy way is with axle and a-arms but is generally a better long term option.

There should be a lot of shops offering arms for it. I personally run Houser, and see no reason to change, but they are the only arms I have ever run besides stock. They are probably beefier than you will NEED for trail riding though.
