Default 2002 Polaris Magnum 325 : AWD doesn't work in reverse

Hello-
I have applied the reverse override switch about 2 years ago with no problem.
However I did not notice until this year that my AWD doesn't engage in reverse mode....it has no problems operating in FWD.

Any help would be great.

If awd works ok in forward, you can try cleaning the connectors going into the left control switch and use some electrical grease. If that doesn't help it could be a reverse over ride button problem in this $72 dollar switch.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse You can test the gray/white and gray/orange wires with a meter to see if you can track it down to the switch, plus this is what some people have posted to eliminate the over ride button.

"Pre 2003 and almost all models that do NOT have the combined override/Speedo function button.

Trace wires from the override button (gray/white & gray/orange) Cut the gray/orange and tape up both ends. Cut the gray/white and tape up the end which goes to the override button. Connect the other end of the gray/white to the red/white (ignition supplied 12v) "

If having the over ride isn't a big deal I'd just eliminate it. I put a toggle switch on mine so that when I'm plowing snow I don't have to constantly hold the button every time I'm backing up.
