Default How to replace clutch buttons 05 trail boss 330

Just wondering how to change clutch buttons on my 05 trail boss. It has a knock at idle but when revved up it fades away. I've listened to the left and right sides and it sounds like it's coming from the recoil side any help greatly appreciated.

If it sounds like it's from the recoil side and not the clutch side(left side) could be something other than the clutches. Could be anything from bearing noise, rod or piston noise. You can always pull the clutch cover and just pull the belt off to listen closer to the front clutch. Worn guide buttons and clutch spider wear in the front clutch can make a knocking noise also that decreases when you rev the engine up. If this is the problem, you need a clutch puller and a spider tool. Both are available on ebay. Plus best if you have a manual if you don't already have one. Here's a free pdf service manual on a 2003 model 330 that has the same clutches that you might want to look over.http://gh-ftp.com/ORV%20Manuals/Pola...0%20-%20SM.pdf
