Default Any Sportsman 570 Owners?

Anyone here own a Sportsman 570? I'm debating on getting a foreman and the 570 and wanted opinions on the 570.

I don't have one as of yet but have been looking at them quite a bit. basically the same frame and suspension as the older sp500, A little more room in the footwells and a little narrower seat. Not as much as the the XP's but noticeable for certain. I don't think the seat is as plush as my 07 but that could just be that my seat is well broken in, cant remember how it was new. I personally have not ridden one as of yet but a couple of the guys that work at my local dealer ride as well and they've told me the 570 is night and day difference from the old 500. So much so that the 570 will pull the front wheels up with little effort. nearly 10 ponies more behind it. I'm wanting a 570 touring with power steering. Not an option this year on the touring but is on the standard model. They said wait for the 2015, it'll most likely have it. If it still isn't an option an XP will be in my future. When I was younger I would have scoffed at the idea of power steering on a quad but today it looks pretty good. A couple of the guys I ride with are in their late 50's early 60's and are not nearly as beat up/and tired as I am after a weekend trip. One has a grizzly and the other a Polaris, both love the power steering and claim they wont go back to not having it.

Only advance I can give you is that if you like to ride on muddy trails and go through water, the Polaris 570 is not your atv to buy. On the Polaris 570 the battery is located on the skid plate right beside the drive shaft and has no protection from mud , water, snow, tree branches, and ice build up. If you are planning too buy an atv, make sure the battery is well protected, and for power steering, I tried some out, and loved it. Much easier to steer with tracks. My next atv will have power steering.
