If it doesn't come with hand warmers and thumb warmer I'd get those first thing. We've used them even when it's 60 degrees out and pouring rain. Helps the hands warm up nicely. Did you get the 1000 XMR? Those are pretty loaded.

Yeah I got the XMR 1000, I got EFI programmer, Speedwerx slip on exhaust, and pro taper bars... I was wondering about HID headlights and other stuff people felt that it needed. I also might get a set of bighorns to run on the trails... The RZR 1000 comes with 29" bighorns stock and I was thinking about buying another set of rims and tires.

I think the headlights on the G2 chassis machines are much improved over the previous models' headlights. I've thought about LED's for my machine because of the poor headlights. I'd take the new machine for a night ride just to see how they shine first.

Sounds like your machine will just skim over the mud holes!!! Scary fast.

I agree with moose, they have about the best headlights on any fourwheeler. Im not 100% sure about the zmr but i know on my grandpas 1000 outty first thing we did was put cv axle/boot protectors they are like really good skid plates, i hate how the can ams have theirs exposed.

My brothers G2 renegade lights will blind the rest of us at night lol it looks like just about the same headlight as the outtys. I wouldn't imagine needing a upgrade unless you were running baja . The XMR comes loaded. I couldn't imagine it needing anything else except maybe trail tires. I wouldn't get 29s though, they will probably weigh the same as the silverbacks. maybe a 26-27 inch bighorn

skid plates! i am runing 28" ITP Mega Mayhems, great all around tire for the New england trails. When i bought my machine i was torn between the XTP or the XMR, now a year later i have the XT-P with the radiator relocation and snorkel of the XMR.
..i should have bought the XMR! Good luck with it!
