Is the pro design filter setup worth the $100? How exactly does the aluminum plate install to the stock airbox? Any other modifications necessary when using it?

It is not a bad product, but a little more thought could have been put into the design. The aluminum bracket bolts to the stock airbox. I have heard of some people having problems with the filter coming off but I have not experienced this problem. If I could change to a K@N that would bolt up to the Pro Design bracket, I would. I run mine without the lid and it seems to have made a decent performance increace once I got the jetting right. I have yet to see any of the other designs so I dont have anything to compare it to. But you know that once K@N releases thier product that it will be a quality piece so you may want to hold your breath for a month or so.
