stator compadability question

Default stator compadability question

i need a new stator part number WD90-411 which is on ebay for $70. its 8 pole, can i use any 8 pole or do i have to buy the specific one for the quad. ebay has some 8 poles between $20-$25 i really dont wanna dump $70. in the atv. thanks for your help. i believe i have a 2005 china atv maybe baja? really unsure.

s long as the poles match you should be good.. if yours has a separate pickup in it between the poles you will have to make sure that matches

So if it has 7 big poles and one small one, the small one is a pickup? Because that is what it looks like. This is the first time I have ever worked on one, sorry i sound dumb. It also has a pickup that I'm guessing for the outside of the flywheel. The one on eBay looks just like mine, $70 bucks guess I'm gonna have to get it. If anyone knows where I can buy it cheaper would be a big help thanks part number WD90-411
