i just bought a 99 sportsman 500 and notice what sounds like clutch or roller "chatter" when i really get down on the gas. is this normal or do i have a problem? i only have 50 miles on it. also has anyone installed a Erlandson Performance Clutch Kit on their SP500 and have any comments on it, or am i just crazy to worry about the "belt clutch"system on this machine. hate to see all of the negative comments on the SP500, hope i have'nt made a mistake?? thanks.

don't dewell on negetive thoughts easier to think positive. Can't remember where I seen it but someone said had checked into clutch up grade an they were told with EBS better to leave clutch alone, had wondered same about mine.I would call manufactor before doing anything radical. With as many quads as polaris makes you are bound to hear some horror stories and I'm sure they are true, people puting them together are only human, you do same thing dayin dayout gets where you don't care about quality.Sure we are the ones who suffer but thats the chance we take.
