I'm looking for a little information on these new Hyper-Tech bead lock carbon fiber wheels. I'm looking at getting them for motocross and cross country racing. I've looked at the site and they sound pretty cool, but I haven't really seen anyone running them. I'm wondering if this is because of the cost, or if there are some horror stories out there about them. If anyone has some or knows a few things, good or bad, about them could you send it along.

There not much worse than beadlocks pricewise, but I ordered mine at the end of Feb and Tom said there mine would be manufactered on 3/22 and he would call me on that day and I haven't heard a thing. Maybe there production is behind, that may be why you haven't seen a whole lot of them. Visit their website www.hyper-tecnology.com

From what I have seen, they are actually cheaper than bead locks.

Also, the manufacture claims that they are about 4-6 lbs lighter than aluminum beadlocks.
