Can't quite seem to get enuff slack to get 1/8-1/4 slack in choke cable. It's turned all the way in at carb and adjuster by side panel is all the way together. Might there be another way? It works but has almost 0 freeplay at lever.

 

If the adjusters's turned all the way in,then either sounds like you may have pinched or binding cable or even the choke lever assy itself. A lever repair kit is available if needed. #29. Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse Plus you can always pull the carb top and see if the brass plunger is bottoming out blocking the choke circuit. If it is I wouldn't sweat it.

 

I checked out the choke cable and it has no binds and it seems to be working properly
but the most I could get for freeplay was 28 thousanths. Think thats enuff to not richen up the system at all and be acceptable? Thanks!
