Default Big bear oil cooler on warrior?

I was reading in the forums that I can put a big bear oil cooler on a warrior. Will I need a direct shifter? And will it hold more oil? Also do I need to fill he cooler before I start it up?

A direct shifter? Not sure what you mean. If I'm not mistakin, the big bear oil cooler is the exact same one the warrior has. That means that it won't hold more oil, It'll hold the same amount the stock warrior 350 oil cooler holds. And no, I'd just change the oil in the warrior to the required amount that it holds, you can't add oil to the cooler, it just runs from the motor to the cooler and back, no need to try and put oil in there like a radiator.

By direct shifter I meant a yz250 shifter. The warriors have a sloppy shifter linkage. And the warriors do not come with oil coolers stock. I was surprised being that it's a "sport quad"

Actually you have to use stock or a custom bent shifter with the big bear. I Went with the clutch cover cooler method so I could use off the shelf yz250 shifters andyes with a cooler it holds about a quart more oil
