Question Modded out Moto4 350er

Hello everybody my first four wheeler ever was a 1987 350er. Wow has it been amazing to me! I have been super stuck, and done some very sketchy 4wheelin with him. Old Blue i call him and my family got him when it had around 2000miles on it and now it has 5276 give or take a few(literally).
But what my question is is how different is the 1987 yamaha warrior 350s motor from this ones? Why? well because i beleive it is time to start saving some money so i can restore/modd the absolute sh#t out of it if possible . BikeBandit has bottem end kits, cams satge1/2, piston, powerbomb header, they make plenty of performance ignition for this moto4, jet kits, carbs, universal fmf muffler, kenda bearclaws/ STI black diamonds.
Taking it to the frame and building/painting up the right way. rebuild the rear end, shocks, all that good stuff. I would appreciated any and all information. i really believe the four wheeler is worth it and how can you not love an old four wheeler that starts up in -20 degrees.

correction> they make these performance kits for the warrior motor. They make ignition kits for the moto4 already. and those tires are for the moto4.
Thank you.

To be honest, it might pay to contact Yamaha and get on the phone with a tech, or go to a Yamaha shop and talk to someone who has wrenched for them for a while.

Leave the motor stock, you will loose something if you mod it. Performance improvements come at a price, you loose bottom end power or reliability or both. A Banshee is very fast, a load of fun round an oval but as intractable as hell because the motor is tuned for top end power.
