Default '01 500HO Brake lever..broken in crash

Well we had a mishap yesterday...My friend rolled his 500ho sportsman and broke his brake lever.
Anyone have a suggestion on where to get a reasonably priced new one?
It broke off at the handlebar clamp so the lever assembly including the master cyl is needing replaced,,,I suggested talking to a welding shop..its aluminum but the heat of welding could burn out the seals in the master cylinder would be my concern with welding it.

He is fine, a lil shaken and a few bruises but it could have been worse

You can get parts here or several other online sites.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse Plus you can check ebay for cheap used ones. A lot will interchange. Master cylinder assy doesn't have to be the same as the one you have.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Polaris-Sportsman-500-06-12-Brake-Master-Cylinder-Front-8394-/301233663775?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4622ecef1f&vxp=mtr
