I am going to be getting a warrior within the next couple of weeks. I know it is a good quad and it is what I am looking for. there is only a few questions I wanna know about it.
1) Does it slide good?
2) Does it wheelie good?
That is all I want to know thanx.

I have ridden a warrior, they seem to slide OK, but they are very heavy in the front, and are very hard to wheelie.

The stock balloon type tires in the rear make it a little tough to slide, but you can do i.I have 20x11 holeshots on mine and it slides awesome.High perf tires makes a world of difference on a warrior.

nothing personal but a warrior doesnt slide worth a crap, and it wheelies even worse. i always had a decked out 300ex, and have ridden plenty raptors, 400ex's, warriors and everything else, and one of my buds went off and bought one the other day without me knowing, but anyway we went ridin, and i just didn't like it one bit. the main thing is that they're kinda outdated too. BUT REMEMBER ITS WHATEVER U LIKE!

I own a 1999 Yamaha Warrior and I really enjoy it. It is a great trail and play machine. But keep in mind it is no racer. As for sliding I think is does great. Wheelies on the other hand can be difficult and take a lot of practice. But once you get it down the Warrior can do it. Don't let anyone steer you away from a Warrior. Because this machine can take a lot of crap and still run like champs. They can't keep up with the 400EXs or Raptors not unless you spill a lot of cash into mods but I still think it couldn't take a Raptor. But it is an awesome fun play around machine.
