Does anybody know why it is not real easy to find aftermarket parts for this machine. Is it just a polaris thing or am i just not looking hard enough. I'm not looking for anything special offhand, but all most all other atv's has a ton of parts that you can get without going to the manufactur's limited parts selection. By all means correct me if i'm wrong.

There are special companies like hpd aaen perf hotseat rcr and other ones. I have had luck with hpd and aaen hotseat wasnt bad but the pipe i got was junk never got anything from rcr but i hear good things. I have got a swingarm from ftr very nice and getting a set of nerf bars. And most likely a new frame with double a arm suspension. Not to brag but i love being 16 and making 8 dollars an hour for my bike, but the said thing is i drive a chevette but i wanted it for gas mileage sorry for getting off subject, but email me if you want any more info on any of the companys

Hey Spanky..

I feel the same, but I did add some performance mods from Ritter Cycle. The next time I purchase a bike I think I will see what mods are easily available...The Raptor has a million add-ons already. Its just that maybe there are not so many SC500 owners as others. Anyway my '01 SC500 4by seems to have all it needs for now.
