Why do I keep hearing that the FX is race ready. It is still to narrow and to tall and I am willing to bet that a stock 400ex will still give it a run for its money around a MX track.The price is just to high and even though it has a few mods it is still not justified. I dont think it is going to be a bad quad but I think is is gonna be in for a rude awakening when it comes up against a 400ex with about $2000 invested in it. Make up the prce difference with a Raptor, Banshee, DS roe EX and im betting that the FX will get a mudhole kicked in its a**.

 

Looking at (No2StrokeBs), why would you want a 500cc 2 stroke?

 

I just really miss my LT 500 and the power it had, I have owned 2 Banshees, a 400ex and a Raptor since I sold it and none of them are anywhere close to the power that it had.The CR 500 engine is way stronger than the LT one,I wish that someone would make at least one more big bore 2-stroke before the eco-nuts make 2-strokes a thing of the past.

 

Do the cr500 engines have 4 speeds or 5 speeds? I was thinking of a conversion. Someone told me they were 4 speeds?

Depends on what level you're racing at and what kind of racing you're doing.

The racing world does not end at the MX track. I'd venture to say (around here at least) there are probably 5 times the number of woods racers vs MX racers.

Obviously there will be no production quad that will ever be ready to race competitively at the National Pro level. But at the local and state levels, the stock Cannondale may be just fine....
