Default Tips for ATV plow on STEEP gravel drive

I'm in a pickle. I plowed my drive for a year with an old Chevy and western plow. That truck has died. Trying to decide between going the truck route again or ATV. My drive is about 1000'. 700 of that is gravel and extremely steep. Would an atv work or would the hill be too much?

I used to plow driveways to make money and you couldn't pay me enough to clear that driveway with an atv. Not only would it take a lot longer than a truck, but make one mistake and I'm rolling my atv over all the way down the driveway. Gravel, snow and inclines just don't mix well when you're trying to push a blade full of snow. You could try a sxs but it will still take longer than a truck and probably be just as expensive as buying a beater truck. Just my thoughts.

I wouldn't want to plow that much with an ATV. Or anything steep. It would cause too much wear and tear from pushing it to the limit IMO.

You'd be out there forever trying to clear it with an atv.
I'd do a truck, or maybe a small utility tractor.
After the blizzards in 2011 almost killed my Kodiak, me and my dad went in together on a Kubota BX1860 with a loader and a mid mounted mower deck.
It takes the work once the snow gets too deep for the ATV, plus we've found all sorts of stuff to keep it busy year round.

It will plow down hill no problem I would imagine. May need chains on the tires to plow up hill.
